Who are you?
I am a dedicated and hard working person. My favorite thing to do is softball. I am doing things I never thought I'd have the opportunity to do because of the great people and families I met through softball. I am humbled and grateful for everything.
How did your softball journey begin?
My current coach, Chad, invited me to play on a team he started. The team felt like family and made me happy. I fell in love with softball and I value all the time I spend with my team. Softball became a huge part of my life and who I am. I love playing and I love winning. Growing and improving everyday brings me absolute satisfaction as I give 100% for my teammates and coaches.
You’re a Top 100 Elite Prospect for the 2025 grad class. How does that make you feel and what do you attribute to your amazing success and achievements?
I am proud of myself. I work hard so that I can do more than I ever thought I could do. My attitude, coaches, and teammates help me to be the best I am able to be.
What is your greatest strengths as a softball player?
My positive driven attitude and I want to always work hard, lift weights, and practice. I don't believe anything should be given when playing competitive sports and that everything should be earned including playing time and college offers. I have been told that I am very coachable and respectful. I attribute my fast learning to this and having great coaches and teammates.

You’re outstanding softball player. What are your specific strengths?
Good frames, blocks, talking on the field. I enjoy being that leadership link on the field between the coaches and players.
What kind of hitter are you and what are your most recent offensive stats?
I bat lefty, and can drag bunt, slap, and hit away. I am a gap to gap contact hitter that will hit to the fence or down the line and use my speed or slap/bunt to create small-medium ball base opportunities. My job is to get on base by any means and then find ways to score runs. My most recent stats for spring are: Batting Avg .545; On-base Percentage .583; 18 stolen bases (caught 1 time).

Describe your leadership style and what characteristics do you find in outstanding leaders?
I have good communication. I'm more of a talking type person and I always try to pick everyone up. Strong social skills, self aware, selfless, and I love my team. I study and do school after practice and I have everything linked to my calendar. I think I do a lot on my own for someone my age and have a lot of responsibility.
Describe your game day mental preparation and your thought process and mindset in the circle and/or the batters box.
Positive self talk. Picturing myself doing good and trying to set realistic goals for myself.
What is your favorite sports memory?
My first diving catch in the outfield and how everyone cheered for me.

How do you handle adversity and even failure?
I take deep breaths, tell myself I'll fix it, and then work to fix it.
How would your teammates and friends describe you?
Friendly, welcoming, and always having positive energy.
"Felicia is a very good softball player. She has a bubbly personality and is always welcoming to new people on the team. She is very kind and helpful to others. Felicia works hard to reach her goals in softball. She also does well in school and works hard to accomplish many things on and off the softball field. Felicia is very kind to her friends too! Felicia cares about so much, and works for everything she earns."

Who is your role-model and or idol and why?
Bailey Hemphill. Her birthday is the day before mine and she believes in having fun and loving the game.
If you could spend a day with any softball player, former or current, who would it be and why?
Lilah Pensyl. I'm with her most of the time, and she knows me best.

What is your softball dream/goal?
To play college softball the game I love and to have it hopefully help fund my college costs.
When deciding on what college team to play for what are the most important things you’re looking for?
I am looking for location and academics. Of course I want to be part of a team in which the coaching staff fosters a family atmosphere and strives to win championships and the team culture is positive and driven towards success. Of course I have my favorites but I will play for any team, NCAA D1/D2/D3, NAIA, or JUCO as long as it is a good fit. I look forward to the recruiting process.
What gets you hyped or ready before a game?
Warmups, music, pep talks.
What is your favorite jersey number and why did you choose it?
My favortie number is #4. My sister always wanted to have the same number as me.
What other hobbies do you have to balance out softball and your personal life?
I'm learning to be a lifeguard this summer.
Who would you like to thank for your softball achievements and support?
My teammates and their parents. Most importantly my coaches, Chad Pensyl and Dylan Levan.

What does Felicia's head coach say about her?
"I've know Felicia since she was 6 years old. To say Felicia came from a humble upbringing is an understatement. She didn't have opportunities that most kids take for granted.
Felicia is one of the most amazing people that I've had the pleasure of meeting in my life. Everything in Felicia's life, she is earning through hard work, great personality, and she deserves all of the great things that hopefully come her way.
With minimal guidance in life, a lot of teenagers could go down the wrong paths and make terrible choices. Felicia has such a good head on her shoulders, and has maturity well beyond her years. She has a bubbly personality and an incredible work ethic. She is so thankful for anyone that helps her along the way, and is absolutely ecstatic as she's finally starting to see her hard work pay off.
There is not a person that meets Felicia that doesn't adore her. She is the most loving and generous kid. She is the first person to welcome new players to the team and practices. As a catcher, she is usually best friends with the umpires before the games even start.
Felicia's softball family means everything to her. She never misses practices and practically begs to stay as long as she can after practices for extra reps and time with her team. Any school or team would be lucky to have Felicia as part of their program. She is the hardest working kid and the best teammate anyone could ever want."
